Joelle Holland
Hawaiiki Pēpi
Joelle Holland is a mother of two beautiful babies, born and raised in South Auckland and she is extremely passionate about her people and culture.
Joelle is the founder of Hawaiiki Pēpi, a pakihi that was built with the next generation in mind, and aims to enhance identity, build connections and help reconnect to Te Ao Māori.
Hawaiiki Pēpi was a dream and longing for Joelle and for her people to stand strong in who they are which became so much more important when she became a mother herself.
“Being Māori is a huge passion for me and while I was hapū with my daughter, I struggled to find cultural goods to purchase - that’s where the dream started for Hawaiiki Pēpi”
